140 SMEs (20 for each country), out of the 280 SMEs that benefited from the preliminary audits, have been selected to benefit of an in-depth audit performed by the PINE project.
The audits are done by the technical partners together with at least one company representative (internal auditor). They will perform in-depth energy audits, consisting of an overview of energy flows identifying the weak points of the companies’ industrial process where the major wastes of energy occur.
At the end of the audit, a technical report, drafted by the auditor, will be delivered to each company. It will include various recommendations and measures suitable for short-term implementation and low investments and for medium- to long-term implementation with relatively more substantial investments.
The audit service is completely free of charge, thanks to the EU contribution.
